- Cairn and Astris both disappear (they failed rolls lmfao)

- Eli and Nes take off their helmets and then grab Jaemera’s helmet off them (they couldn’t find them in the mindscape)
- Oryndrus comments on Astris and Cairn getting yoinked
- Oryndrus suggests that Evobahn is “The Lord”
- Im treating this as a fact for now, it seems to be pretty concretely stated
- He casts Dispel Magic on Evobahn’s comatose body, the invulnerable golden orb hes at means he ignores it
- Eli, Nes and Jaemera head back into the Mindscape and head toward Astris’ room
- Inside they find a massive stage, her parents are on stage with her and the crowd is full
- Astris is on stage performing the show of their life
- In this performance they’re almost constantly the hero of the story saving the day
- They’re concious, in a sort of dream state
- The party enters to the nightmare level
- Astris is on stage and Astris is every audience member wearing a mask
- They leave
- They send a familiar (a hawk) up to the stage, Astris notices it
- They head onto the stage in an interlude when the fake party heads off stage
- Astris sees them as they are, with scars and so on (the fake version of the party has no scars and damage) before they’re blanked out
- They try to gaslight Astris to find a private room so they can talk ‘in private’
- Astris brings her parents
- Astris thinks the party (the real one) is being weird and gets concerned (they are being weird as fuck, can confirm)
- Jaemera calls out Astris and that sort of starts to snap her out of it
- Astris gets mad and vortex warps Jaemera away
- Nes casts Hold Person on Astris, it fails
- There’s fake fight scene of the battle during the tournament
- both Nes and Eli were throwing the fight but Astris and Cairn were doing supernaturally well, they still easily won the fight
- Jaemera points out that this is not the real Cairn
- Astris asks Jaemera to stop destroying the script
- Astris wants to stay here a little longer
- Astris remembers what happened right before she failed the roll and was dragged here
- The scene shifts to a scene with Astris and her parents
- Astris wants to leave and help her friends, her parents dont want her to
- She realizes her parents are real, she says this aloud and the entire place transforms into a fucked up place
- There’s a fight happening now
- They manage to kill a bunch of shadow people
- Eventually, they manage to leave Astris’s private zone
- Back in the real world, they talk to Oryndrus and take a short rest
- Astris talks about her daddy issues (and why she got sucked into the dream)
- Jaemera thinks Cairn is lonely, and that he might wish to die (or be dead)
- Oryndrus gives the party the approximate location of where Cairn went
- The party heads down, and down and down into the Mindscape to find Cairn
- They eventually find a big stone door and head inside
- Its Everbloom in daytime. Its beautiful. There are fields of flowers, etc
- In nightmare mode, the field of flowers turns to graves. Everything is in ruin
- The party notices a massive tree in the center of the village
- In daytime mode, its flowering
- In nightmare mode, its full of apples and the people gathered around it are all corpses
- There are young versions of many people from the village
- The party finds Cairn dring and rusted against the tree
- Through the power of friendship™ the party managed to convince Cairn to continue living
- They have to fight trees and children (Cairn gets beat up and nearly dies (he’s not really dodging))
- We eventually manage to win the fight, and The Lord appears who is mad at us and threatens us
- Damn now he’s attacking us L move honestly
