The Reaping

• A yearly event where the dead rise up to kill the living
• The Reaping takes place during the day, during it the sun disappears
  • The moon appears and takes on a sickly yellow color
• In the year 516, there were two reapings
  • One came a week early (Early Day of Reaping)
  • One happened at the usual time
• According to The Emperor, the day of reaping happens because “an imbalance in things, an imbalance in divine authority, an imbalance which I aim to correct in due time”
